Workshop 3

The Tolerance Scale

This session continues the discussions of sessions 1 and 2. This time, we will introduce an exercise on unconscious bias which demonstrates how we may, unintentionally, see people from certain groups.

​Learning Objectives 
  • Discuss the Tolerance Scale, a scale of attitudes we may hold towards people who are closer or farther away from the center of our "Circle of Ethics".
  • Experience the impact of unconscious biases on stereotyping and on how we treat people in the workplace.
  • Connect the exercises of Workshop 3 to the previous lessons learned.
  • Mini Action Plan.
