TD CONCENTRATION

Is Talent Development for me?

The Talent Development concentration is open to all undergrads regardless of your major.

Why? Because these courses provide transferable skills that will be beneficial regardless of the career field you choose.

These skills include but aren't limited to:
  • Leadership
  • Self-awareness
  • Effective communication
  • Collecting & analyzing data for strategic planning
  • Collaborating with others
  • Working successfully in teams
  • Helping others reach their potential
  • Creating valuable objectives
  • Improved public speaking
  • Meeting/classroom management
  • Managing change for others and self
  • Technology literacy

Why add a concentration to your studies?
  • Great way to reach the credit requirement to graduate
  • Can be meaningful to employers
  • Allow students to gain valuable skills outside their major
  • Can complement what students are learning in their major
  • Produces a more well-rounded student

If you think the Talent Development concentration might be right for you, chat with your advisor or email cris.wildermuth@drake.edu
