Hello! I am a proud graduate from the Drake University PharmD program in 2019. I graduated with my MSLD in December of 2020. After graduation, I have gone onto complete residency training and am currently completing my post graduate year 2 residency in Springfield, MO. I have hopes to become a clinical faculty member at a college of pharmacy after residency. I completed the undergraduate leadership education and development (LEAD) program at Drake University and went on to complete my MSLD following that. I have been able to utilize the skills and techniques gained from both those programs in my past and current role in many ways. One of those ways is in my current research project which is based on student leadership development throughout professional pharmacy schooling and the students' preparedness to take on their first role after graduation. I am excited to present today with my friends and colleagues, Morgan and Emmeline!

Hello! I am originally from Columbia, Missouri, but I have called Des Moines my home away from home for the past six years. I am about to earn my pharmacy degree from Drake University in May. While I was going to pharmacy school, I pursued a dual MSLD degree and graduated August 2020. I absolutely loved the MSLD program and have had the opportunity to apply those skills in a lot of leadership roles in the college of pharmacy. I was recently accepted to complete a first-year pharmacy residency at the Kansas City VA Medical Center starting in June. I am sad to be leaving Des Moines, but I’m also extremely excited for the new adventure. I can’t wait to see how I can apply my PharmD + MSLD in the next step of my career.
